Independent Research Program

Research Fellows Program

Supporting independent researchers studying the systems that shape communities, markets, housing, and everyday economic life.

About the Program

The Public Lyceum Research Fellows Program invites graduate students, policy researchers, journalists, urban planners, and economic researchers to contribute independent research on the systems shaping communities and markets.

The fellowship program supports research that advances public understanding of how modern systems function—whether examining housing markets, local service economies, consumer decision-making, or community infrastructure.

Our fellows benefit from access to The Public Lyceum's research infrastructure, editorial guidance, and a network of scholars committed to independent, non-advocacy public education.
