The Public Lyceum — Civic Initiative

City Power Night

A Private Room for Public Impact

City Power Night is a curated gathering of civic, economic, and community leaders convened by The Public Lyceum. It is not a public event. It is not a promotional program. It is a structured environment where decisions are discussed, relationships are built, and public-interest solutions are explored among those with the capacity to act.

Purpose and Positioning

City Power Night exists because meaningful civic progress requires bringing together the people and institutions with the capacity to effect change. The challenges facing communities—housing instability, economic mobility, infrastructure decay, social fragmentation—do not resolve through public commentary alone. They require private deliberation among those positioned to act.

The Public Lyceum convenes these gatherings not as an event producer, but as a civic institution committed to public-interest education and institutional collaboration. City Power Night is an extension of that mission—a structured environment for dialogue, not spectacle.
